A little of what we do
… and we mean a little. Do not hire us to take pictures. We found that we are not good at taking pictures of our work. Most photos we found were reference photos, not good before and after pictures. Oh well…

Before and after bedroom closet
Part of a whole house renovation. We turned outdated closets into one larger closet, using the original doors in new jambs built onsite. Everything here was done in house
In depth siding, wall, & roof repair
On this local ranch house we were contacted to paint the siding and replace the roof. We contracted a roofer who tore off the existing roof. we made repairs in the decking, added a cricket above the chimney. We then replaced all the fascia. The roofers came back and put down a new standing seam roof. The siding was cupped, and some was rotten. The owner wanted to keep as much original as possible. We removed the boards and battens, we planed the boards by hand, filled rot with bondo, and made a few new pieces. The battens had been salvaged from a previous family house and were 100 years old. We used what we could and replicated the rest.
The gable had no wall, just horizontal 2x4s. We built new gable walls, placing them in line with the stone, so the siding would hang over the masonry wall. This looks better and protects both the stone and the siding. We insulated, and decked the walls. We replicated the gingerbread pieces, and trimmed the windows properly. We then finely primed and painted the siding.
Large Upstairs Addition
We had clients who wanted to utilize their attic space. Their garage was a car and a half, we put a staircase there. There is a study, full bath, guest room, and access to more attic space with utilities. The inspiration was the husband could come home, go upstairs to his study, clean up, and relax before greeting his family. We had fun with the guest room decoration, since it would only be occasionally used. We used longleaf pine for newel posts, and beams. we found laminate that matched the pine. We painted the trim to allow the pine to stand out. The walls are double 5/8” drywall for fire. The space we used for this addition was enlarged with a 40’ shed dormer.
We also did a flagstone porch with tri-colored stone, and stained the cedar. We also built stone flower beds, fixed the sprinkler, and worked on the landscape. We also built a garden shed.
