Framing Carpentry
Al & Ginger have been framing their own jobs from the beginning. Al has been around frame construction his whole life. He also has framed for other companies. From traditional stick built, to advanced framing we have experience and knowledge in both.
Welding
You read right. Ginger has been welding since she was nine, in her daddy’s shop. From structural, decorative, or somewhere in-between she is your go to girl for steel work. She has has experience in steel, stainless, and galvanized.
Ranching
Al & Ginger have plenty of Ranching experience. they live on Wood Fail, their own place, where they have kept it up for 25+ years. Ginger’s family have the Angle E Ranch. They raise goats, donkeys, and cattle. This has given them the experience in fencing, clearing, road and terrace repair. They also raise their own beef for themselves, family and friends. Finish Carpentry
Along the way Al & Ginger have done quite a lot of finish carpentry. From coping the corners of crown moulding, to making their own fluted trim, they have handled it all. Custom cabinets, bead board & center match ceilings, traditional trim, wood floors, staircases, native cedar work are some of the finish work they have tackled.
Painting
Al & Ginger both have painted since they were kids. Ginger started in her Daddy’s shop. Al painted next to his parents. As time went on they had a chance to relearn from professional painters. In Al’s case, there was a lot of yelling in the process. It paid off, and they paint with the best.
Roofing
Al & Ginger have done plenty of roofing. Their experience makes them the right call for repairs, or additions. Their expertise makes them a great choice to contract a roofing company, to make sure it is done right.
Tile & masonry
Tile is where Al got his professional start. Ginger was right there at the end of the day helping him finish up. We excel at tile work. Traditional ceramic, modern porcelain, to stone work. Some clients forget we do the rest of construction too.
Contracting
Al & Ginger handle most jobs in house, but there are times when legalities or practicalities say they need to bring in outside help. They have good relationships with other contractors, subs, HVAC experts, plumbers, and electricians. Their knowledge of the inner workings of construction, and their good relationships with others in the business, make them a great choice for your next project.
Design
Al & Ginger both have a knack for design. Color and proportions, architecture and decorating, problem solving and creativity are strengths they have between the two of them. They typically handle the design for their projects in house. Ginger worked as a manger of two local shops on Main St. for years. Decorating and design was par for the course. Ginger is also a seamstress. Sshh, don’t tell anyone, Al worked for a local interior decorator, where he set up displays in shop windows on Main St. Fredericksburg.
